KCS Tours
The Knoxville Choral Society has participated in several concert tours. Some recent tours are listed below, in reverse chronological order:
December 2007
Knoxville Choral Society members have been invited to join in a tour by St. Timothy Choir and Carson-Newman A Cappella Choir to perform at Nazareth, Jerusalem, and Amman, Jordan. The tour will culminate in a performance of portions of Messiah at Bethlehem Square on Christmas Eve. The combined choruses will perform under the direction of Dr. Robert McBain and Dr. Eric Thorson. June 2005
Members of KCS joined a chorus under the direction of Dr. Robert McBain in a performance of the Brahms Requiem at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Summer 2002
A portion of the Knoxville Choral Society toured in Europe, including concerts in Prague, Cottbus, and Bratislava. The chorus was directed by Dr. Eric Thorson and accompanied by Danny Brian.
